Independence: Fire Commissioners to hold public hearing on proposed 2020 budget

The Town of Independence Board of Fire Commissioners will hold a public hearing on their proposed 2020 budget. The hearing will be held at the Whitesville Fire Hall on October 15th at 6 p.m. Residents of the fire district will be able to express their thoughts about the spending plan during the hearing. A copy of the proposed budget is available at the Independence Town Clerk’s Office located at 887 Marietta Avenue in Whitesville; The Town of West Union offices at 2792 State Route 248 in Rexville and at the Fire District Secretary located at 496 Main Street in Whitesville.
