Dem Senators Caught Telling Ukraine They Must Help Investigating Trump & Co Via Mueller & His Crew In 2018

After spending the past three years running one investigation after another trying to prove the 2016 election was somehow compromised by Trump, Democrats are now suggesting that inquiring about allegations of past corruption during the 2016 election is grounds for impeachment.

That level of hypocrisy demands recognition.

In May of 2018, Sens. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., wrote to Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko asking the Ukraine government to keep four investigations open related to the Mueller probe into Russian election interference in the U.S. and indicated that their support for foreign aid to Ukraine could be in

Let’s take a moment to recall how House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) characterization of the president’s call, that is the subject of Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry, and ask what is any different regarding this letter from the three Democrat senators:

Schiff: “We’ve been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what? I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from YOU though. And I’m going to say this only seven times so you better listen good.

“I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of it.

Lest you pass this off as the imaginings of a conservative website, here’s CNN’s original account, from May 4, 2018, of the letter.

And yet, the ever disingenuous Speaker Pelosi said that the mere possibility that President Trump had asked Ukraine to continue an investigation of the allegations of corruption surrounding former VP Joe Biden and his son, absent a quid pro quo, was sufficient to trigger an impeachment inquiry.

In one inexplicably insipid statement, Pelosi three three long-serving Democrat senators and her party’s leading candidate for president under the proverbial bus.  Although, Biden did a fairly good job of doing that to himself, at least that is what I hear when I watch this clip:

Biden seems to admits that he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko with pulling $1 Billion in loan guarantees if he didn’t fire Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’”

“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.
